How to Apply for B.Tech EEE Program
The admission process at SRMIST is designed to be simple and student-friendly. Follow these three steps to secure your seat in the B.Tech Electrical & Electronics Engineering program.
Step 1: Register
Create Your Account
Sign up or Register for SRMJEEE (UG) with basic details:
- Name
- Email ID (will be your username)
- Mobile Number
- State
- Gender
- Password (set by you)
Confirmation
On successful registration, you will receive a confirmation message on your: - Registered contact number - Email ID
Use your Email ID (Username) and Password to log in to your SRMJEEE account.

Step 2: Apply for Entrance Exam
Take SRMJEEE (UG)
After registration, you'll need to:
- Complete the application form with all required details
- Upload necessary documents:
- Recent photograph
- Signature
- 10th & 12th mark sheets

Pay the application fee
- Attempt the entrance exam covering:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- English
- Aptitude

Step 3: Admission
Based on Entrance Results
After the SRMJEEE (UG) results are announced:
- Check your results using your login credentials
- Attend counseling (if shortlisted)
- Select your preferred program (B.Tech EEE)
- Pay the admission fee to confirm your seat
- Submit original documents for verification
Document Verification
Bring the following original documents for verification:
- 10th Standard Mark Sheet & Certificate
- 12th Standard Mark Sheet & Certificate
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Community Certificate (if applicable)
- Income Certificate (for scholarship claims)
- SRMJEEE Rank Card
- Identity Proof (Aadhar Card/Passport)
- Photographs (passport size)
Alternative Admission Routes
Direct Admission
SRMIST offers direct admission and scholarships to students with exceptional talent:
Eligible for Direct Admission:
- First rank holders from all central and state boards in India
- Top 10,000 rankers in IIT JEE
- Top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu
- Exemplary sports persons at National and International levels
International Students
NRIs and international students who have not taken SRMJEEE (UG) should:
- Apply through the International Student Category
- Visit: International Admissions
- Follow the specific guidelines for international applicants
